Most Soulé formulas are built from the same handful of ingredient families — here's what each does, once, so the product descriptions below can stay short.
Humectants
Glycerin and Sodium Lactate — draw in and help hold onto moisture, keeping skin and hair feeling hydrated rather than dry.
Botanical Waters
Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice — soothing, hydrating bases used in place of plain water in several formulas.
Butters & Oils
Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Jojoba Oil, Grape Seed Oil, and Castor Oil — emollients that soften, cushion, and help lock in moisture.
Gentle Cleansing Agents
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, and Coco-Glucoside — coconut-derived, sulfate-free surfactants chosen for a milder lather.
Hair Conditioning Agents
Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl/Cetyl Alcohol, and Polyquaternium-7 — help detangle, smooth the hair cuticle, and reduce static.
Vitamin E
Tocopherol — an antioxidant commonly included to help condition skin, hair, and lip products and support formula stability.
Every formula also includes a small preservative and pH-balancing system — ingredients like Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Gluconolactone, and Citric Acid — which exist to keep the product safe, fresh, and consistent in texture over time, not for a skin or hair benefit.

Polishing Sugar Scrub
